となりのトトロのモチーフ

となりのトトロにはモチーフがあります....
それは
・狭山事件
物語の舞台は埼玉の所沢。この所沢で昭和６０年代に姉妹が残虐された狭山事件をモデルにしている。
『冤罪』で有名
サツキ＝五月(皐月かな？)
メイ＝May＝五月
狭山事件発生日が5月1日
まず妹が居なくなり、姉が必死に探している姿が目撃されている。
妹は翌日森の中で全身を16分割くらいのむごい殺され方をしていた。
そばで放心していた姉はひどいショックを受け、事情聴取に対しても
「猫のお化け」「大きな狸に会った」等々、意味不明な証言ばかりしていたという話。

母親は既に病死しており、片親だったなど共通点が多い。


→メイがいなくなってさつきが探しにいく話が酷似
→始まって15分ぐらいに荷物の食器を片付けている後ろの箱に狭山茶って書いてある。
→ジブリが無関係と発表した日が狭山事件と同じ5月1日
